Animals in Winter, Thursday, Feb 25
Times: 10 am - 11 am & 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Deadline to Register: Feb 18

Students will explore how animals have developed unique adaptations to avoid or endure the harsh winter weather. Students will rotate through pods to examine pelts, discover animal signs and homes outside, listen to a story, and construct a craft. See our Poster for the Main Standards applied.

Nature Wakes Up, Thursday, March 25
Times: 10 am - 11 am & 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Deadline to Register: March 18

Emphasis is on our favorite animal of spring, the frog. Studens will examine tadpoles, listen to a story, construct a craft and discover signs of spring during a guided walk outside. See our Poster for the Main Standards applied.


Fish of the Lake, Thursday, April 8
Times: 10 am - 11 am & 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Deadline to Register: April 1

Students will look at fish up close and personal - they will examine live fish, learn how fish breath, listen to a story, construct a craft and define fish anatomy. See our Poster for the Main Standards applied.
